Steve Donston

Steve was born and raised in East County San Diego and attended both Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges. Steve works at UCSD Hospital as a veteran Neonatal Respiratory Therapist.

Steve started CrossFit 10 years ago and started competing locally shortly after. He has a number of competitions under his belt. His last being the Granite Games in 2019. After being in the CrossFit community for so long he felt his experience could benefit some of our members. Therefore, in 2023, Steve obtained his CrossFit Level I certification. Based on Steve’s CrossFit experience, his amazing movement ability, and his humble and kind attitude, we immediately hired him as a coach. Steve says, “I enjoy helping and seeing our athletes progress.”

Steve is married to ARC Coach Jacqui. They have one son, Luke, who is also a member of our Young Warriors program.
