When you start at Alpine Ranch CrossFit, your fitness level will improve quickly, usually in the first 30 days. The key to see results is consistency and commitment over time so that’s why we recommend 3 classes per week as a start!

Yes! We provide guidance on eating right or sleeping well which can help maximize energy levels – getting YOU maximum results from your efforts.

Nope! Most of our members start just like you. We assess each new members fitness level. Then our workouts are “universally scaled”, with a different version of each days workout designed for every level. As you level up you can take on more challenging variants of the workout if you desire.

We have been providing functional fitness for the Alpine community for 10+ years. We have a staff of 7 coaches who are all trained on adapting CrossFit for people of all levels and abilities.

You’re not just a number here, everyone knows your name. We’re a community of like-minded people that want you to show up and support each other on this journey to live better lives – with no judgment along the way!
If you are looking for a place for your youth/teen, look no further. We are the ONLY certified Brand X Method Youth Training Facility in San Diego. They literally wrote the book on “Kids CrossFit”.

We are also the only CrossFit gym in San Diego with a full-time Adaptive Coach. Coach Chappie is a below-knee amputee and the owner/lead coach at Alpine Ranch CrossFit. He was the 2nd “adaptive” CrossFit affiliate owner in the world. If you are an amputee, paraplegic, short stature, or have limited mobility due to any reason, come on in! Coach Chappie has a vast amount of experience helping mildly disabled people. He is also an ambassador for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

If you’re a beginner and just starting out, then 3-4 times per week will be enough to see results and allow you to adjust. Your newly developing muscles will be sore. The best way to recover is more water intake and keep moving. Over the course of the following months, the goal is to work up towards a committed 4-5 days per week if you want to maximize your success! 1% Stronger Every Day.

We offer exciting, challenging, and varied workout programming which will keep it fun! The workouts are published in advance. Most days are a combination of Strength, Conditioning, and a focused Stretch. Our brand of CrossFit is designed to elicit the broadest physical capacity possible. We want our athletes to be able to handle any challenge or adventure life throws at them.

Each class is led by qualified coaches. After a warm-up, the coach will brief the class on the workout of the day (WOD). They will physically demo the movements with an emphasis on proper form. They will also provide scales and adaptions for each movement for any individual ability.

During the workout, the coach will walk around and provide guidance and positive reinforcement. At the end of class, we will cool down together to accelerate recovery and have time to talk about fitness or just life in general. Each class is programmed for an hour of training.

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
